A new kind of chewing gum has been made which is biodegradeable, and can dissolve in around a month. It is made from a natural chicle which is grown on chicoxapote trees in South East Mexico and other places.   It will save city authorities around the world many billions of dollars in clearing up mess on pavements and streets.

Around 25% of my work over the last decade has been with some of the largest banks in the world, and they, together with global investors, are anxious about the future.

While the amount of capital they require has been increases - so return on capital will be lower than in the past - banking remains fundamental to the global economy and will be a vibrant part of our future.
