Adult education and skills development will be a major priority for governments, including autocratic regimes and dictatorships, with all kinds of subsidies and grants becoming available, and new courses emerging in partnership with leading colleges and universities.

Governments will also lean on larger corporations to increase their own training budgets, not only for their own teams, but also to benefit the wider community, including donations of team time to colleges and secondary schools.

As we have seen, a single Microsoft initiative in the UK will result in a million more adults being trained to use AI. Expect many more commitments like this on a smaller scale.
