Few of the largest retail stores have worked out how to respond to mobile phone users who walk around the store flashing at barcodes to get competitor pricing infomation, and with a single click, order the identical items for home delivery the following day.  One advantage the physical retailer has is that some people are unprepared to wait - they want the product right now.
